About The Company


Solartek LLC is a solar electric system design and engineering business founded in 2008 by Bruce Thomas and Scott Knapp, two electrical engineers with several years of research and design experience in RF electronics.  They share a passion for renewable energy technologies and wanted to bring a level of technical expertise they felt was lacking in the treatment of solar electric system design.  The first two systems ever designed and installed by Solartek were on their personal residences.


The company is built on the idea that solar electric systems should be designed by experienced electrical engineers.
